One owner yacht purchased NEW in 2003. Yes that's right, NEW in 2003.
VERY Nice yacht. Recent total wax job makes her shine. Her interior ane engine room are excellent. The fact that she's owned by Germans surely shows! CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN, and everything works like it's supposed to. This yacht was owned by Brunswick (The company that owns Bayliner) and was kept near "Lake X" (Mercruisers test facility inland of Ft. Myers, Fl.) as a dealer demo and was only offered NEW for the first time in 2003 when her current and 1st owners purchased her.

You should be impressed with her condition as her 107 posted photos prove.
WHY a 5288 versus a 4788 people ask. The answer is RIDE, RIDE, RIDE, PLUS the full width master stateroom, PLUS the walk-in engine room accessed from the aft-deck. A bigger heavier boat rides better in rougher sea's than a lighter smaller boat. Also the theoretical waterline length of the 5288 and 5788 is longer than the 4788 which gives it a higher displacement speed at LOWER rpms. I've had buyers who've bought these larger boats report BETTER fuel mileage than their 4788's cruising the same speeds as it tool less RPM's to do it. BUT, these boats have the ability to really get up and punch through weather when you need it. IF you find yourself doing long offshore passages, you would prefer a larger boat than a 4788 for the ride and security of heavier displacement.
