Description

Here's a rare find. A 1998 5788 that was delivered and commissioned by the factory when new in Las Vegas Nevada. She's been a one owner boat since new. ONLY 245 hours on her 610 HP MANS. I'd certainly never seen one so "new". Absolutely zero corrossion on her exterior Aluminum frames, Her engine room is still shiny and looking new. Gel-coat is immaculate as the boat lives under a shed out of the light. Never have I seen a davit that looks so new.  Same with the air intakes! Bottom painted Spring 2009. I've posted ample detailed photos of her for you to see what I'm speaking of. She has been used more as a condo than a cruiser- I mean where are you going here? So her interior looks average as it's been used. The aft of her engine room is used as storage for dive tanks. She has a dedicated first mate that keeps her clean.  Regularly serviced.  Her canvas looks good but it's time for new.

She's priced higher than what a normal 98 5788 would be on the brokerage market because the boat sits in the "Penthouse dock" on the Lake, in an end covered slip with an open view of the lake which brings a premium out here.  The buyer of the boat get's to keep the slip which also adds value. Want to take her off the lake? No problem, it can be done BUT it's REAL expensive (think $50k just to get her over to the Pacific Ocean as it will take extensive de-commissioning and two trucks- so I would recommend this boat ONLY for those who plan to keep her on the lake. Her high price reflects the value of her location in the best slip on Lake Mead.

FRESH WATER 5788's are extremely hard to find for sale. I have a 2000 5788 in NY becoming available later this summer. THAT'S the 5788 to buy if you don't want to be stuck on Lake Mead forever.

Personally inspected and all photos taken by me-Blake Davis, the "Pilothouse King".
